Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to culinary excellence. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hospitality.
Duties - Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. - Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends. - Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation. - Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. - Monitor food safety practices in accordance with health regulations, ensuring compliance at all times. - Manage inventory effectively, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. - Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. - Assist in training new kitchen team members on cooking techniques and safety protocols. Experience - Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. - Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
