Electrical/Jointer Supervisor We are representing a well-established, fast-growing groundworks specialist that has carved out a powerhouse reputation within the Power and Civils sectors. Due to a strong pipeline of 11kV infrastructure projects, they are looking for a hands-on leader to bridge the gap between technical jointing and site supervision. This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys the variety of UK-wide project delivery and wants to be a key player in a company that is scaling rapidly. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations and carrying out specialist jointing works on 11kV networks. * Supervision: Leading onsite teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. * Technical: Carrying out LV and HV cable jointing (specifically 11kV projects). * Travel: While based in Colchester, the nature of the contracts it may mean occasional overnight stays. * Hours: 07:30 – 17:30 (47.5-hour working week). What You’ll Need To be successful in this role, you must be a "boots-on-the-ground" leader who isn't afraid to lead by example. * Qualifications: Fully Qualified Electrician. * Safety Leadership: Must hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS. * Technical Expertise: Proven experience in LV & HV jointing, with specific expertise in 11kV projects. * Adaptability: A flexible approach to travel and working away from home when required. * Communication: Ability to liaise between the client, the civils team, and the head office in Colchester.
