Business Development Representative (BDR) 📍 Birmingham City Centre | Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday Urban is a fast-growing sales and marketing company based in Birmingham City Centre. Due to continued growth, we’re hiring a confident and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our on-site team and help expand our client base through high-quality outreach and relationship-building. This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday) — no weekend work and no hybrid/remote option. About the Role As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, engaging potential clients, and supporting the growth of Urban’s sales pipeline. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and the wider sales and marketing team to deliver results and exceed targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in: business development, sales, marketing, client acquisition, and account management. Key Responsibilities Identify and engage potential customers through outbound and inbound outreach Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads Present and communicate Urban’s services clearly and professionally Book meetings and support the conversion process Develop strong relationships with new and existing contacts Track performance and activity using CRM tools and reporting systems Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to improve outreach strategies Consistently work towards individual and team goals What We’re Looking For Strong communication and people skills Confident, professional, and goal-oriented approach Ability to work full-time on-site in Birmingham City Centre A proactive mindset and willingness to learn Strong time management and organisational skills Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, telesales, retail, or marketing is an advantage (but not essential) What You’ll Get at Urban Full-time Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends) On-site role in Birmingham City Centre Full training and ongoing coaching provided Clear progression opportunities into leadership and management Supportive team culture with a fast-paced, ambitious environment Performance-driven development and long-term career growth Career Progression At Urban, we promote from within.
