Our client based in Havering are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary / Team Assistant to join their property litigation team on a permanent basis. To be considered for this role, you would need to be a competent and confident Property Litigation / Conveyancing Legal Secretary with excellent communication skills, a typing speed of 60wpm+ and experience of digital dictation and managing busy diaries. As Legal Secretary / Team Assistant you will be responsible for: - • Carrying out all necessary conflict, money laundering and ID checks., • A range of administrative duties including data entry, completion of forms, managing diaries and travel, expenses, research, drafting of documentation, booking of events, meeting preparation and more., • Liaising with other areas of the business such as the accounts and marketing teams., • Providing Audio typing (Bighand) and copy typing as required., • Liaising with clients and third parties as instructed by Lawyers., • Attending to clients, delivering documentation as and when required., • Providing reception cover when needed., • Dealing with new business enquiries, following up on enquiries and providing accurate record keeping. What you will need: - • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, Bighand, Oyez., • To be self-motivated with a “can do” flexible approach., • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines., • A proactive approach and able to take ownership of issues and offer solutions., • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)., • To be a strong team player who can work on own initiative., • Knowledge of P4W (Partners for Windows) would be a distinct advantage.
