Pre-Sales Consultant - £75,000 - Software Development Our client delivers offshore bespoke software development and is looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant. The candidate should be a hands-on technology Presales specialist with a proven history of working within IT outsourcing businesses that ideally focussed on bespoke applications development. The role requires a strong background in Presales and Bid Management and a good understanding of Application architecture and software development. The person should have proven experience in building client relationship and senior stakeholder management. The candidate must have the ability to engage in opening discussions with stakeholders (either NT onsite team or customers), rapidly identifying their requirements and issues and both outlining and effectively communicating solutions appropriate to resolving their issues. The role requires continuously improving the Bid and Presales processes, bringing in efficiencies and ensuring agility in responding to opportunities. The role will include engaging with a Bid Team consisting of Technical Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers (acting as Bid Managers). Essential skills/experience • Previous experience in a customer-facing presales or sales role • A degree level qualification or equivalent business experience • Excellent skills in writing proposals spanning business and technology domains • Must have a good understanding of Enterprise systems, Digital Technology including Cloud, Mobility, Big Data Analytics, Blockchain and IoT and preferably, some hands-on development experience • Keen learner with the ability to quickly understand the architecture of new and emerging technologies and objectively challenge the solutions proposed by the delivery team • Good understanding of Agile Delivery methodology, Waterfall and estimation technics and processes. • An appreciation of systems integra...
