Job DescriptionDescription: The Targeted Case Manager – D&A Specialist will provide services to participants, living in the community with persistent mental health and drug and alcohol challenges. After assessing needs, the Drug and Alcohol Specialist helps the participant with obtaining resources and services in the community, in a partnership that focuses on recovery and the achievement of the participant’s goals for community living. The Drug and Alcohol Specialist also is instrumental in assisting homeless individuals to locate adequate shelter/residence. The Drug and Alcohol Specialist also engages individuals who are incarcerated acting as a community link in reestablishing a productive life within the community once released. The D&A Case Manager is a full time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with the opportunity to create a flexible schedule with manager's approval). This is a hybrid work from home position, with required in-person participant visits and office days and occasional work from home options. Provide the Accounts Receivable Manager and Chief Revenue Officer with the necessary information to resolve all billing and funding discrepancies. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Minimal in nature QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree preferred; Three to Five years’ experience in Health Care Billing functions, preferably in a Behavioral Health and/or non-profit environment, in an Electronic Health/Medical Records system; Ability to run reports necessary to correct and update billing and funding source data; Ability to work with numbers and function with minimal supervision.
