The Senior Director, HIM, Data, and Training is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of electronic health records, learning management systems, reporting platforms, and other organizational technologies to improve operational performance, regulatory compliance, staff development, and service delivery. This position leads efforts to enhance system utilization, strengthen data integrity, support organizational learning, and promote the effective adoption of technology solutions that support PATH's mission, strategic priorities, and long-term sustainability. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (required Master’s preferred) in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Education, Public Administration, or a related field required. Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience leading teams, projects, or organizational initiatives; Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare systems, information management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, data management, operational improvement, or related fields. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, implementing system enhancements, managing organizational change, and driving user adoption of technology and learning platforms. Experience supervising staff and leading multidisciplinary teams required; Excellent computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data analytics and reporting tools, learning management systems, electronic health record systems, and other business applications as required. Demonstrated ability to utilize technology, data, reporting platforms, and learning systems to support organizational effectiveness, system optimization, user adoption, operational decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to quickly learn, evaluate, and implement new technologies and software solutions; Demonstrated knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems, healthcare information management, learning management systems, data governance, and organizational training programs. Experience administering, optimizing, supporting, or leading initiatives involving Avatar NX or a comparable healthcare information system required. Ability to analyze business processes, identify system improvement opportunities, manage organizational change, and support user adoption of technology solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills required. SPECIFIC DUTIES: SYSTEMS OPTIMIZATION & GOVERNANCE • Provide leadership and oversight of organizational systems, including electronic health records, learning management systems, reporting platforms, and other assigned business applications., • Develop and implement strategies to optimize system utilization, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user adoption across the organization., • Establish and maintain system governance practices, policies, standards, and procedures to support effective and compliant use of organizational systems. HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT • Provide leadership and oversight of Health Information Management functions to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements., • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, security, and confidentiality of health information and organizational records., • Monitor compliance with documentation standards, record retention requirements, privacy regulations, and organizational policies. DATA, ANALYTICS & REPORTING • Support the development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization solutions., • Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for operational improvement., • Promote data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. LEARNING & ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT • Monitor training completion, compliance requirements, workforce development initiatives, and learning outcomes., • Identify opportunities to improve employee learning, onboarding, professional development, and knowledge management practices., • Support organizational change management efforts through effective communication, training, and user adoption strategies. PARTNERSHIPS • Provide leadership and oversight of PATH@1919 Partner Hub., • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and identify opportunities for Partner expansion. STRATEGIC INITIATIVES, LEADERSHIP & STAFF DEVELOPMENT • Partner with the CAO and organizational leadership to develop and implement initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, system utilization, workforce development, and operational performance., • Support organizational change initiatives through planning, communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies., • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards related to systems optimization, information management, data governance, and organizational learning., • Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and professional development to assigned staff., • Ensure appropriate cross-training, succession planning, and operational coverage within assigned functions.
