JOB DESCRIPTION The Credit Control Manager is responsible for leading all credit, collections, and receivable operations across RockForce's multi-subsidiary structure, including corporate, union, and non-union entities. This role safeguards company cash flow by balancing strong client relationships in the live-entertainment industry with disciplined financial governance. The position ensures timely billing and collection for project-based labor events, monitors credit risk across high-volume client accounts, and maintains transparent communication with Operations, HR, and regional leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Credit Management • Develop and enforce Rock Force's credit policy across all subsidiaries and regions, aligning with client contracts and union requirements., • Evaluate new client creditworthiness using trade references, financial statements, and industry insights (touring companies, venues, promoters, etc.)., • Set and review credit limits by entity and ensure consistency with client history and event billing patterns., • Monitor exposure across corporate, union, and non-union divisions to maintain balanced cash flow., • Partner with Operations and Regional Vice Presidents to proactively address credit concerns on large or repeat events. Accounts Receivable & Collections • Oversee national A/R activity, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collections for project-based and multi-jurisdictional clients., • Implement standardized billing workflows for recurring labor engagements, ensuring compliance with union contribution requirements and CBA-specific terms., • Lead daily A/R operations-cash application, reconciliations, adjustments, and dispute resolution-across multiple EINs., • Maintain detailed aging reports segmented by entity (Corporate, Union, Non-Union) and report on DSO performance to executive leadership., • Communicate directly with key client finance departments to resolve outstanding balances and build long-term trust. Process Improvement & Reporting • Design credit control dashboards that visualize real-time receivables, aging, and collection metrics across subsidiaries., • Partner with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate integration of hours, rates, and contributions into billing workflows., • Support system enhancements and ERP/HRIS integrations (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, QuickBooks, NetSuite) for invoice automation and reconciliation accuracy., • Supervise and mentor Credit Control and A/R staff; foster accountability, accuracy, and collaboration with Operations and Finance., • Ensure adherence to Rock Force's financial policies, client contracts, and union reporting requirements., • Support internal and external audits with full documentation of invoices, payments, and adjustments., • Contribute to executive cash-flow forecasting and strategic financial planning. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required;, • 7+ years of progressive experience in credit control, A/R, or collections with at least 3 years in a management role., • Proven experience in a multi-EIN or project-based service organization (entertainment, construction, or staffing preferred)., • Strong understanding of union and non-union billing structures, including trust fund remittances and CBA obligations., • Advanced proficiency in ERP or accounting platforms (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Paylocity, ADP, etc.)., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
