Job Description Home Care Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Administrator / RN Supervisor to join our home health agency. This role will oversee clients and field staff across Northwest Ohio, requiring work in our Northwest office in Perrysburg, OH, at least 3 days per week, and work in the NW OH field and client homes 2-5 days per week (with the ability to work from home 1-2 days per week when not required in the field). Position Summary Our Program Administrators supervise assigned team members (incl. RNs, LPNs, Home Health Aides, and Personal Care Assistants) while directing, coordinating, supervising, and implementing professional and supportive services to home health clients in a safe, cost-effective manner. Successful candidates will be professional, efficient problem solvers who work independently as well as on a team, have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a bias for action and driving growth. Acting in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, as well as basic principles and best practices of professional nurses, a successful Administrator / RN Supervisor ensures that patients receive the best medical care possible by overseeing their well-trained team of nurses and aides. Their purpose is to maintain safety and patient confidence by ensuring all patients' needs are addressed with the highest degree of professionalism and care, and that all policies and regulations are adhered to strictly. Further, this is a critical role that requires strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical knowledge, and effective communication skills. Annual Salary: $73,500 Key Responsibilities/Requirements of an Administrator include: • Plan, direct, coordinate, implement, and supervise the delivery of professional & supportive services to our home care clients., • Manage/supervise a team of RN, LPN, Home Health Aide (HHA), and Personal Care Aides to maintain a cohesive medical team., • Recruit, hire, and retain your region's field staff team to provide care for existing and new clients, as well as deliver excellent orientations and continued education to all staff. Identify the standards of practice for agency personnel and communicate these standards to them, implement systems to assure compliance with all state federal and local laws, provide staff development and in-service education programs to ensure competencies of staff and to meet regulatory requirements and communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team., • Execute skills assessments on all staff., • Coordinate and direct programs and staffing to promote quality services for clients and establish and implement systems to inform clients and their families of the scope and nature of home health care services and community resources., • Perform client assessments while directing, planning, and initiating appropriate actions in home care situations., • Develop care plans., • Promote continuity of safe, appropriate care through case management., • Facilitate good communication between patients, nursing staff and physicians, demonstrating a passion to care for all clients (infant/pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients)., • Monitor & manage monthly financials and department budgets to achieve company strategic goals., • Lead/Participate in the organization's strategic planning activities, assist in the planning and development of agency structure, clinical and administrative policies and procedures, and the annual operating and capital budgets, focus services on diagnosis-specific client care needs, and seek consultant expertise as needed to ensure agency strength., • Lead/participate in regional strategic planning initiatives for your region, then create, execute, and successfully manage activities to achieve optimal levels of care and business growth goals., • Assure compliance with the requirements of state licensure, Medicare certification, and compliance with regulatory agencies through policy and procedure development, staff education, and ongoing monitoring activities, recommend new policies and/or changes in current policies to improve quality of client care and efficiency/effectiveness of services and review and update client care procedures annually., • On occasion, travel to patient homes and/or employee regions within your assigned region to provide coverage for caregivers, in-service support and training, emergency assistance, etc. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice., • Baccalaureate degree in nursing or related field preferred., • Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience required, with a combination of acute care and home health care/public health preferred., • 1+ year of Supervisory / Team Management experience required (of caregivers, nurses, and care team), with health service administration a plus., • CPR & First Aide Certification required; with CPR & FA Instructor/Trainer certification preferred (or willingness to complete once upon hire)., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. #NWO Are you willing to consent to a background check, including a criminal record check, and an employment and education verification?
