As a Seasonal Operations Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and on-time departure of aircraft during winter conditions. In this key role, you will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This position ensures that employees consistently follow all procedures and standards, respecting safety policies and procedures during operations. You will be asked to display leadership, respect your employees and colleagues, and lead by example. Key Responsibilities • Assists the Operations Managers on duty with all operational tasks., • Assigns the de-icing trucks in preparation for the de-icing operations., • Assists personnel in de-icing techniques., • Assist personnel during de-icing and snow removal operations., • Fills up Icehouse / Iceman positions when needed., • Act as a practical trainer during the operations and the training sessions., • Ensure that equipment and vehicles are used correctly., • Supervises the fill-up station's operations., • Assist in the environmental monitoring and required analysis., • Ensures that distributed tasks are well executed (e.g., maintenance, dips, etc.), • Ensure that all distributed tasks are performed correctly., • Participate and animate pre- and post-operation meetings., • Responsible for offering and maintaining a safe work environment, and for following up on safety policies and standards. Ensure that safety policies and standards are followed., • Follows up on the ratio board and vehicle repair board., • Assists the Operations managers during the technician's performance evaluations., • Participates in the briefing and debriefing meetings., • Attend to the reception of the Glycol and related documentation., • Assist/manage the recovery and disposal of Used Glycol., • Assist in monitoring the inventory of Glycol, fuel, and necessary equipment., • All additional tasks required from the Operations Managers What You Bring • Must be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience., • Must possess a valid driver's license., • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), • Drug screening test and Airport security background check, • Relevant de-icing experience., • Bay lead experience or equivalent experience for at least one (1) year,, • Must possess a good sense of initiative., • Needs to be self-motivated., • Can work autonomously as well as within a team., • Must be able to work various shifts., • Must display leadership skills., • Considers health and safety as a top priority., • Supervisory and/or training experience will be considered an asset, • Prior experience in aviation, heavy equipment, or seasonal work is an asset Why Join Aeromag • Competitive hourly wage ($24-28), • Paid training and certification provided, • Flexible scheduling – choose your shifts based on your availability, • Ideal for those seeking extra income during the winter season, • Opportunities to return seasonally or grow into year-round roles, • Be part of a team that makes a direct impact on air travel safety Apply Today Only selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
