Job DescriptionJob Title: Millwork Puller Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Millwork Puller who understands lumber and millwork codes and specifications. You will be responsible for pulling and stacking orders, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring that backorders are clearly noted. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and any issues are promptly reported. Responsibilities • Understand lumber and millwork codes and specifications., • Identify various species of lumber and distinguish between MDF and PFJ., • Question any obvious errors on orders with the Millwork Lead., • Pull and stack orders securely on carts to prevent falling., • Mark all orders clearly with order numbers and job names., • Verify that backorders are clearly and accurately noted., • Ensure paperwork is secure and not lost, defaced, or spoiled., • Verify orders for correctness, completeness, and timely fulfillment., • Maintain stocked materials for order completion., • Understand equipment for maintenance purposes and report issues to the Millwork Lead., • Keep the shop area clean and free of debris.Essential Skills, • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English., • Proficiency in reading and understanding tape measures and units of measurement., • Experience in production, general labor, packaging, and cleaning., • Capacity to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • 6+ months of experience in production or construction., • Warehouse experience., • Proficiency in using a tape measure is very important for the door shop., • Experience with pallet jack or forklift is a plus., • Experience in moving wide materials is beneficial.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
