Compensation & Pathway to Ownership: Veterinarians will have a guaranteed base and a production bonus - earning ~ $200,000. This role offers a base salary, a production bonus, and a fantastic benefits package all in a cutting-edge facility focused on both traditional and complementary care. About the Practice: This forward-thinking general practice serves dogs and cats with a wide variety of services from preventive wellness to orthopedic surgeries and integrative therapies. Pets receive care using the latest technology, including therapy and advanced ultrasound, alongside routine medical and dental care. The team is collaborative and includes a supportive group of technicians trained in anesthesia, dentistry, and surgical assistance. A visiting mobile orthopedic surgeon adds to the range of procedures available. The hospital is outfitted with full-body and dental digital radiography, an ultrasound system, therapy equipment, and a brand new Idexx lab. Benefits Include: • Salary range $150,000 - 170,000, • Large sign on bonus and retention bonus, • production bonus, • Medical, dental & vision coverage, • 3 weeks of PTO, • 401(k) plan, • Sick leave & mental health support, • Discounts for personal pets, • Paid public holidays Responsibilities • Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status., • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in pets and other animals., • Perform surgical procedures as necessary, ensuring the highest standards of care., • Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed., • Maintain accurate medical records for each animal treated., • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations., • Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures., • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school., • Valid California veterinary license to practice., • Strong knowledge of canine and feline veterinary medicine, • Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine., • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff., • Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k), • Dental insurance, • Employee discount, • Flexible schedule, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • Retirement plan
