Req No. 2026-5597 Category Warehouse/Parts Location US-IL-East Peoria Type Regular Full-Time Union or Non-Union Non-Union Division Heavy Company Altorfer Inc Work schedule is 7:00am-3:30pm Monday - Friday, overtime and Saturdays as required This job is for that person who is outgoing, customer focused, detailed. Does not mind working on a computer 90% of their shift. Their shift will be to create a solution style selling environment for our customers and become their trusted guide in the construction business. Primary responsibilities include the following for the Parts Department: Look up part numbers online, match by serial # or model # may have to look up customer machine on an existing account or through a parts book or microfiche. • Assist with customer parts counter sales processing and customer questions., • Complete required paperwork and computer data entry., • Take payments for orders and account payments., • Other duties as assigned, • Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail., • Previous parts counter or shop experience for a heavy construction equipment or auto shop dealer a plus., • Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills., • Strong trouble shooting skills and interaction skills., • Strong computer skills related to PC or Laptop required and familiar with programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Google, Microsoft and Chrome.
