This person will join a distributed, highly collaborative team that is responsible for the setup and maintenance of security equipment for a global network. About the Role: If hired, you will work on a broad range of corporate transactional matters, including M&A, strategic investments, and capital markets transactions. Responsibilities: • Support a range of complex corporate transactional matters, including M&A, strategic investments, and capital markets transactions., • Draft, negotiate, and review a broad range of transaction documentation, provide advice on deal structuring and strategy, and conduct and support due diligence., • Partner with Corporate Development and other cross-functional teams to execute transactions and enable successful integrations., • Support legal and other departments in the management of post-closing obligations., • Work collaboratively to prioritize business objectives and support overall company success., • Work efficiently with outside counsel., • At least 5 years of relevant transactional experience, with a focus on corporate transactions, M&A, and securities., • In-house experience at a high-growth tech or publicly-traded company, with relevant prior experience from a top law firm., • Ability to operate autonomously on certain corporate transactions and handle multiple matters simultaneously., • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, collaborate with diverse business groups, and build interdepartmental relationships at all levels, including senior-level executives., • Advanced problem-solving skills to quickly digest a problem, evaluate solutions, and then empower others to deliver., • Excellent drafting, project management, and legal interpretation skills., • A commitment to professional conduct, excellence and attention to detail under time pressure., • Ability to balance legal risk mitigation against key business objectives and risks., • Ability to manage outside counsel efficiently., • Practical, solution-oriented and ready to roll up your sleeves., • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing power and distribution transformers. The Field Engineer helps ensure the safe and efficient operation of high-voltage electrical equipment across a variety of settings, including substations, power plants (including solar and wind farms), and industrial facilities. Daily Responsibilities Daily duties vary and typically involve a combination of mechanical and electrical tasks, including: • Installation and Assembly: Assembling new transformers, including the installation of radiators, bushings, fuses, and control cabinets., • Maintenance: Performing routine inspections, oil sampling and processing (degassing, filtering, filling), and re-gasketing to prevent leaks and ensure optimal performance., • Testing and Diagnostics: Conducting electrical tests (e.g., Megger, Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR), and power factor testing) using specialized equipment to diagnose faults and verify operational integrity., • Repair and Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving complex electrical and mechanical issues, repairing or replacing damaged components, and modifying procedures to improve performance., • Documentation and Reporting: Preparing detailed service reports, maintenance records, and test results for compliance and customer review., • Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety standards and protocols, including OSHA and NFPA 70E requirements, when working with high-voltage equipment., • Customer Interaction: Serving as the on-site point of contact, providing clear communication and technical support to customers.
