    Just Salad is seeking Prep Staff that will join our team. Under the general direction of the Kitchen Team Leader (Just Salad's Kitchen Managers), Prep Staff will focus on following all our food specs and preparing our ingredients in the back of house of our operations. In line with Just Salad's mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible, you will also support initiatives to reduce Just Salad's environmental footprint. Prep Staff Reports to: Store's Kitchen Team Leader and/or Chef We are looking for people who: • Make following recipes and food quality a top priority, • Are open to learning and following (great leaders learn to follow first), • Are willing to adapt in a growing and ever changing environment, • Early morning availability required Prep Staff's Daily Responsibilities: • Prep all JS items to recipe cards and specs, • Correct usage of oven, per recipes, • Makes sure all products day dotted as prepared, • Follow and understand all sanitation procedures, • Wears a cut glove whenever using a knife, • Clean/organize the walk-in refrigerator, • Complete prep in required time to come to work on front line, • Keep kitchen area clean and organized Job Requirements • Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, • Moving continuously throughout a shift, • Climb stairs, • Maintain a high degree of pace and intensity throughout shift, • Read, comprehend and follow spec book and follow recipe materials, • Clearly and professionally communicate with Restaurant Team Leader, Kitchen Team Leader and other team members, • Follow all Just Salad Safety and Health Department Policies, Procedures and Standards We provide you with: • Paid Training: Every team member hired is set up for success through a training that is structured and detailed.
