Job DescriptionSalary: Job Summary The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to Aspasia's standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during breakfast and lunch shifts. Key Responsibilities • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times., • Ensure food is cooked and plated according to Aspasia presentation and portion guidelines., • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to the Kitchen Manager., • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and rotation., • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed., • Collaborate with BOH and FOH staff to ensure timely and efficient service., • Support training of new kitchen staff as needed., • Assist in closing duties, including cleaning kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils. Physical Requirements • Physical ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment., • Ability to lift, carry, and move kitchen equipment and supplies as needed. Working Conditions • Extended periods of standing, walking, and repetitive motions., • Exposure to heat, steam, and kitchen equipment., • High-volume service periods requiring speed, focus, and attention to detail.
