Job Description Your Mission Build and sustain a quality management system that stands up to any AS9100, ISO 9001, or NIST review—on time, every time. You’ll translate standards into daily practice, champion compliance culture, and help the organization anticipate and adapt to regulatory change. Outcomes • 30–60 Days: Map certification requirements to existing processes, establish documentation baselines, and ensure controlled versions are accessible to all employees., • 90 Days: Deliver targeted onboarding and refresher training; publish policy updates and clarifications; initiate an internal audit calendar., • 6 Months: Complete multiple process/documentation audits, close gaps with CAPA, and present a data-driven executive report on compliance health and risk areas. Core Responsibilities, • Coordinate all regulatory and compliance documentation supporting AS9100, ISO, and NIST certifications., • Ensure documentation satisfies federal, state, and local government requirements., • Implement and monitor controls, compliance procedures, and operational processes aligned to certification criteria., • Lead training for new hires and conduct company-wide sessions when requirements, policies, or expectations change., • Communicate new rules, policy revisions, and periodic reminders that reinforce compliant practices., • Maintain ethical, legal, and regulatory conformance across processes and personnel., • Administer policy governance: manage revisions and releases, keep current versions available, and obtain executive review/authorization before publication., • Track industry standards, corporate responsibility trends, and regulatory news that could impact operations domestically and abroad., • Oversee and evaluate records for noncompliance reports and investigations, including program policies and procedures., • Plan and run process/documentation audits to verify regulatory fit and employee understanding., • Provide executive management with regular reports on audit results, violations, investigation status, corrective/preventive actions, and program improvement recommendations., • Keep current with literature and outside/agency requirements to guide proactive adjustments., • Lead the quality team using initiative, judgment, and clear communication to meet certification deadlines., • Ensure timely, accurate completion of compliance documentation and system procedures., • Engage effectively with colleagues at all levels, customers, and vendors with a professional, positive, informed presence., • Serve as the primary subject-matter expert and point of contact for your scope., • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications, • Associate or bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of experience and specialized training/certifications., • 2–4 years of QC/QA experience; experience implementing AS9100, ISO, and/or NIST programs strongly preferred., • Preferred: hands-on CNC machining background or strong understanding of machining practices., • Bonus: multi-industry exposure (aerospace, automotive, military, medical device)., • Detail orientation and mastery of QC/QA procedures and processes., • Strong research and reading comprehension; excellent written and verbal communication; active listening.
