Position Summary This role sits at the center of one of the most active and ambitious music investment platforms in the world. You will work closely with the principals who lead it, across a team that is genuinely committed to what they are building. The work is varied, the environment is collaborative, and the pace is real. The company is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the two co-founders, as well as the wider team. This role requires genuine integration into a fast-moving operation, anticipating needs before they are articulated and taking quiet ownership of the things that keep the team running smoothly. The team communicates at high frequency throughout the day across Slack, text, and calls. Responsiveness and proactive communication are fundamentals. The right candidate communicates instinctively, performs well under pressure, and takes genuine satisfaction in making a high-performing team run at its best. The position is full-time, hybrid, based in New York City, and reports directly to the Co-Founders. Specific Responsibilities Responsible for pro-active, hands-on, calendar management and scheduling, communications and relationship management, and team and operational support for the founders and the rest of the team. The role requires a high level of initiative, critical thinking, good judgement and can-do attitude, combined with excellent communication and quantitative skills, and advanced use of Google Workspace, Slack, and other relevant technology. Calendar Management & Scheduling • Manage complex, fast-changing calendars for both principals, with precision and good judgment about priorities, • Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones, including with partners, investors, legal counsel, banking relationships, and music industry contacts, • Coordinate Zoom and in-person meetings, managing all logistics including dial-in details, agendas, and pre-reads where required, • Act as a proactive gatekeeper protecting the principals’ time and ensuring the calendar reflects their actual priorities, • Assist with travel arrangements and logistics, ensuring seamless travel experiences (this position does not involve accompanying the principals on travel) Communications & Relationship Management • Liaise professionally with external partners, investors, UMG contacts, legal advisors, and other counterparties on behalf of the principals, • Manage relationship appreciation efforts, including thoughtful, timely gifting, acknowledgments, and occasion-based gestures, • Maintain and organize contact lists and digital files with care and consistency, • Handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment at all times Team & Operational Support • Support the wider team across ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks, as the small team size means no one operates in a silo, • Assist with event coordination, internal logistics, and project support as needed, • Contribute to the organization and improvement of administrative systems and processes, • Maintain high responsiveness across communication channels, including Slack, email, phone and Zoom, in line with the team’s operating norms Qualifications • Experience in an executive assistant or senior administrative role is preferred, ideally supporting founders or C-suite principals, though we are equally open to candidates who are earlier in their career but demonstrate exceptional drive, instinct, and capability, • Strong command of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, and Docs) as the primary operating environment, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clear, confident, and professional across all channels, • Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, • A natural instinct for proactive communication: flags issues before they become problems, give updates without being chased, and treats responsiveness as a baseline rather than a differentiator, • Professional maturity, discretion, and calm under pressure — someone who absorbs the pace of the environment and reflects it back as competence, • Comfortable and effective in a remote-first environment with minimal hand-holding, • Experience in a small team, start-up, investment firm, or family office environment strongly preferred, • A genuine interest in music, the music industry, or the intersection of culture and finance is a plus but not required Compensation Competitive salary and benefits will be offered, commensurate with the role and the final hire’s experience. Depending on the job relevant knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, network and location of the final hire, the base salary is anticipated at an annual rate in the range of $90,000 to $120,000, plus discretionary annual bonus and fully employer-paid healthcare.
