Reports To: Construction Project Manager or Senior Project Manager Department: Construction Operations FLSA Status: Exempt / Full-Time Location: Las Cruces, NM Position Summary The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating residential home construction projects from start to finish, ensuring each home is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest French Brothers quality standards. This role focuses on leadership, accountability, and building strong relationships with trade partners, customers, and internal TEAM members. The Coordinator is the on-the-ground driver of project success, representing French Brothers professionally at all times, and embodying our values: • People First – We Build Relationships First. Project Coordination & Management • Manage day-to-day construction activities across multiple home builds., • Coordinate schedules with trade partners and suppliers to ensure timely completion., • Monitor project budgets, cost controls, and material usage to reduce waste., • Conduct quality inspections at key stages of construction to ensure all work meets or exceeds French Brothers standards., • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and company policies., • Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners during the construction process., • Provide regular updates, answer questions, and address concerns promptly and professionally., • Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors., • Hold trade partners accountable for deadlines, quality, and safety standards. Education & Experience • 1–3 years of experience in residential construction, project management, or related fields preferred., • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent trade school experience, preferred but not required., • Strong leadership and decision-making skills., • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of initiative and accountability., • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills., • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once., • Ability to walk, stand, and navigate active construction sites for extended periods., • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
