Job Description Entry Level Cleanroom Technician $17.75/hr - Sorrento Valley Job Description Perform daily production and packaging activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). Work diligently to achieve assigned production goals and manage unscheduled peaks in workload to ensure timely product release and avoid back orders. Collaborate with team leaders to detail critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications. Address corrective actions for technical issues related to raw materials and finished products. Conduct in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products, and promptly communicate line issues and production problems to the team leader. Responsibilities • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and related SOPs., • Utilize the computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system to report lot-controlled ingredients on batch records., • Perform machine operation, multi-tasking, quality assurance, packaging, inspection, and computer operation., • Understanding of cleanroom environments, GDP, SOP, and other manufacturing lingo., • Experience in machine operation, multi-tasking, quality assurance, packaging, and inspection., • At least two years of assembly/packaging experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is strongly preferred., • Quick comprehension of coagulation-based manufacturing processes., • Familiarity with GDP, GMP, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), FDA, and ISO standards., • Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus. Work Environment This position is for a production operator on the 2nd shift, from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The work environment requires adherence to a specific dress code: leggings are not permitted, pants are required, and no makeup or lipstick can be worn. Necklaces must be tucked into shirts, and side shields are required for glasses. The room can be loud, but ear protection and ear plugs are provided. Headphones and cell phone use are not permitted on the manufacturing floor. Flexibility in working overtime, including Saturdays, is necessary, and overtime schedules will depend on the position. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
