Job Description Express is looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving professional to work with a company in the Miramar area. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying, documenting, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments. This role supports warehouse operations by loading/unloading materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely and accurate shipment preparation. Shipping & Receiving Clerk Highlights: Shipping & Receiving • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information, counts, weights, and measurements against bills of lading, purchase orders, and other records., • Prepare outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements., • Process domestic and international shipments using UPS and Federal Express systems., • Log the internal delivery of received goods manually or with an RF scanner., • Knowledge of warehouse software such as SAP or NetSuite., • Prepare and pack items for shipment, ensuring they are packed securely and labeled correctly., • Working with UPS, FedEx, and other vendors to ensure on-time pick-up., • Create shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels., • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure client satisfaction. Material Handling • Safely load and unload boxes, raw materials, and operational supplies on and off trucks., • Move materials in and out of shipping areas and throughout the warehouse., • Place inventory into designated bins or storage locations. Inspection & Documentation • Inspect all incoming materials for damage; report issues and record shortages., • Maintain accurate records in the receiving log., • Route copies of purchase orders to the Buyer and Accounting department. What We Look for in Shipping & Receiving Professionals: • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations or shipping & receiving., • Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems (domestic and international)., • Experience in a regulated environment preferred., • Experience with pallet jacks., • Experience with RF scanner and warehouse data entry., • Can-do attitude and willingness to perform various duties as directed., • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
