JOB DESCRIPTION The FP&A Manager is a core member of RockForce's finance leadership team and will be responsible for building, operating, and continuously enhancing the company's financial planning, forecasting, and performance management capabilities. This role partners closely with Operations, Payroll, Production, Accounting, and Executive Leadership to convert complex, project-based activity into clear, actionable financial insight. This is a hands-on, best-in-class FP&A role suited for a professional who can operate at both the strategic and executional level-owning models, narratives, and deliverables while influencing decision-making across the organization. The FP&A Manager will report directly to the CFO and will play a visible role in executive, board, and lender communications. Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting • Own the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with strategic and operating plans, • Lead quarterly reforecasts using real-time operational data, • Build and maintain driver-based financial models reflecting live entertainment economics, • Translate operating plans into financial outcomes with clear assumptions and sensitivities, • Continuously improve forecast accuracy in a dynamic, event-driven environment Monthly Reporting, Variance Analysis & Management Insight • Own the monthly FP&A reporting cadence in partnership with accounting, • Prepare detailed variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, • Develop executive-level narratives explaining performance drivers, • Deliver actionable insights related to margins, labor efficiency, pricing, and costs Executive, Board & Lender Reporting • Prepare board-level financial presentations and executive summaries, • Support quarterly board meetings and scenario analysis, • Own lender compliance and covenant reporting packages, • Ensure consistency across management, board, and external reporting FP&A Systems, Data & Process Excellence • Serve as primary owner of FP&A tools (Planful preferred), • Ensure clean integration between FP&A models and Sage ERP data, • Improve automation, data structures, and planning workflows, • Establish best practices for model governance and documentation Business Partnership & Strategic Support • Act as finance business partner to Operations, Payroll, Production, and corporate leaders, • Support pricing decisions, project profitability analysis, and post-event reviews, • Evaluate investments, initiatives, and growth opportunities, • Proactively identify risks and opportunities with recommended actions Qualifications Core Competencies • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, • 5+ years progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, • Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, • Strong driver-based financial modeling skills, • Experience with Planful or similar FP&A platforms, • Background in live entertainment, events, staffing, or project-based services, • Experience in private-equity-backed environments, • Board and lender reporting exposure Work Environment Key Competencies • Strategic mindset with strong execution discipline, • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, • High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail, • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-expectation environments Location: 3 days in-office (Whites Creek, TN) WHY ROCKFORCE We don't just staff events - we build careers.
