Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 04/13/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 13, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work in a large 636-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Primary Stroke Center, and Magnet-designated facility in Milwaukee, WI, • Radiology department includes 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room, • Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges, including some pediatric patients, • Average caseload of 15–20 patients per tech per day, • Procedures include fluoroscopy (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases) and OR cases (ortho, general, and spine surgeries), • Equipment includes GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray systems; GE 9900 and Elite C-arms; Medtronic O-arms; and McKesson PACS, • EMR: Epic, • 8-hour night shifts, Monday–Friday (third shift), with flexible start times typically varying 1–1.5 hours depending on staffing needs, • Every other weekend rotation — weekends are defined as Friday night and Saturday night, • One on-call shift per week; call windows are 6:30 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, or 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, • One holiday required per 13-week contractRequirements, • Minimum of 2 years of acute or surgical radiology experience, • ARRT certification required, • Active WI Radiology license required (license required if applicable), • Current BLS certification required, • Proficiency in surgical/procedural imaging, general radiography, and portable X-ray, • Experience with fluoroscopy procedures including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases, • Experience with OR imaging for orthopedic, general, and spine surgeries; comfort with O-arm preferred, • Mid-to-high level acute care hospital experience required, • Epic EMR experience required, • Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth for consideration, • Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RNAdditional Information, • Radiologist on site 24/7, with additional support from RT, hospitalist, and intensivist available around the clock, • Department staffing includes 14 techs on days, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shift, with a lead tech present on first shift, • Orientation includes facility NEO plus 7 days of department-specific training, • Weekend schedule includes one day off the week prior to and one day off the week following each worked weekend, • RTO requests must be approved through the manager, • Surgery scrubs are provided on-site, • Free parking available on campus, • Fast-paced unit with high patient acuity, • First-time travelers may be considered depending on demonstrated skill level in surgical and procedural imaging With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
