JOB DESCRIPTION: The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across email, SMS, digital channels, and integrated programs. This role focuses on operational excellence, cross-functional coordination, and campaign accuracy while helping the marketing team improve efficiency through automation and AI-enabled workflows. This role is execution-first and process-driven. Success is measured by on-time delivery, clean execution, strong collaboration, and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Transitional / AI-Oriented • Support day-to-day marketing operations across the U.S., executing campaigns with a deep understanding that these activities are continuously documented, standardized, and prepared for automation using AI-enabled tools., • Plan, coordinate, and manage digital marketing campaigns from kickoff through execution, while contributing to the development of repeatable workflows designed to transition from manual execution to automated and agent-assisted delivery., • Collaborate closely with sales operations, inventory, and marketing teams to support promotional priorities and seasonal initiatives, helping translate complex inputs into structured processes suitable for AI-assisted execution., • Maintain marketing calendars, schedules, documentation, and operational processes with the explicit goal of creating clean, predictable inputs that enable automation, orchestration, and scale., • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time, while helping identify opportunities where AI tools can reduce friction, handoffs, and rework., • Support pre- and post-campaign reporting, assisting in the shift from manual analysis to AI-supported insights related to sales impact, engagement, and ROI., • Continuously identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve execution quality, and evolve marketing operations from operator-led tasks to orchestrated, AI-supported systems., • Build and deploy digital marketing campaigns in HubSpot, including emails, landing pages, and automated workflows, initially through firsthand execution while contributing to the long-term objective of AI-assisted campaign deployment., • Execute email and SMS campaigns across both B2C/DTC and B2B audiences with a strong focus on accuracy, personalization, segmentation, and compliance, ensuring campaign structures are clean, documented, and eligible for future automation., • Conduct A/B testing, subject line optimization, and performance tracking, helping evolve testing from manual processes to AI-supported experimentation and optimization., • Ensure compliance with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and related regulations, reinforcing governance standards critical to scaling automation safely and responsibly., • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes using AI tools, automation, and workflow enhancements., • Assist with the implementation of automated workflows that improve speed, quality, and consistency., • Participate in experimentation and pilots related to AI-enabled marketing operations., • Track and report on campaign engagement and performance metrics across email, SMS, and digital channels., • Support performance reporting with clear insights that inform optimization and future planning., • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign execution, or digital marketing., • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms., • Experience executing email and SMS campaigns., • Strong organizational and project management skills., • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously., • Experience supporting B2C or DTC campaigns (promotional, transactional, lifecycle)., • Strong attention to detail and quality control., • Comfortable working cross-functionally and with external vendors., • Experience supporting webinars or virtual events., • Exposure to AI tools or automation in a marketing context., • Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, or performance analysis., • Experience in retail or multi-location organizations., • Experience marketing to small or mid-size businesses (SMB), particularly in high-volume, multi-location retail or service environments., • Experience supporting B2B outreach programs (lead generation, nurture, account-based).
