POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for building, leading, and scaling a performance-driven marketing organization that directly supports revenue growth, sales capacity, and brand reputation across All States Home Improvement’s markets. This role owns marketing outcomes, not just activity. The Director of Marketing sets strategy, establishes KPIs, manages budgets, leads internal teams and external partners, and ensures all marketing efforts generate predictable, high-quality leads aligned with operational capacity. This is not a creative individual-contributor role. The ideal candidate is a decisive leader who builds accountability, uses data to guide decisions, and treats marketing as a revenue engine. SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE • Marketing can definitively show which efforts generate revenue through a trusted attribution model integrated with CRM and reporting, • Marketing channels consistently meet or exceed lead, appointment, and ROI targets, • Clear KPI ownership exists across digital, events, partnerships, and vendor-driven channels, • Underperforming initiatives are identified quickly and corrected or eliminated, • Marketing spend is aligned with sales capacity, staffing, and revenue goals, • Leadership receives accurate, actionable reporting tied to growth decisions OBJECTIVES • Lead, develop, and hold accountable the marketing team, agencies, and vendor partners, • Own the annual marketing strategy, plan, and budget aligned to revenue and growth targets, • Establish and maintain KPIs for all lead sources, ensuring consistent tracking and visibility, • Drive predictable, high-quality lead generation across digital, events, partnerships, and referrals, • Maintain full transparency into cost per acquisition, net sales per lead issued, and ROI by channel, • Optimize marketing spend by scaling high-performing channels and cutting underperformers, • Oversee campaign strategy including offers, timing, promotions, and channel mix, • Ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment, and professional execution across markets, • Develop and manage referral and review generation programs to support organic growth, • Partner closely with Sales and Operations leadership to align demand with capacity, • Lead short-term demand initiatives such as promotions, call blitzes, and seasonal campaigns, • Provide leadership with clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to guide decisions COMPETENCIES • Builds, coaches, and holds teams accountable, • Owns results, not just activity, • Uses KPIs and ROI to guide strategy, • Connects marketing execution to revenue outcomes, • Understands budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, • Leads partners with clear expectations, • Makes timely calls, including stopping low-ROI initiatives, • Aligns marketing output with sales and staffing capacity, • Direct, structured, and effective with leadership and teams, • Adjusts strategy based on market and performance signals, • Treats the department like a business unit EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience with direct reports, • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred), • Proven experience managing multi-channel lead generation and seven-figure+ budgets, • Demonstrated success improving lead quality, ROI, and revenue alignment, • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and third-party partners, • Experience in home improvement, construction, or service-based businesses strongly preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position is primarily office-based, with occasional local travel to events, home shows, and partner meetings as needed.
