Role Objective: • Maintain and repair airframes and related components, including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components., • Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections and repair in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions and company policies., • Applies technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions., • Maintains records in compliance with FAA and Company standards., • Maintains premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner., • Maintains equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition., • Knowledge of Gulfstream G-IV, Challenger 604, Hawker 800/900XP, maintenance preferred., • Knowledge of aviation procedures/servicing/maintenance, • Adept in workplace safety best practices, • Understanding of applicable FARs, • Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications, • Avionics Troubleshooting, • Avionics systems repair using specialized test equipment., • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with a minimum of 2 years of experience., • Excellent computer skills., • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required., • Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities., • Certification of air data systems on RSVM-certified aircraft., • Must be able to read and write English and have good communication, writing, and problem-solving skills., • FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment, • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, • Good vision and depth perception, • Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position, • A&P Certification preferred, • High School diploma or GED, • Has no certificate action since the date of the interview, • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and understand technical procedures and governmental regulations, sometimes quickly and under stressful or emergency situations., • Able to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management, dispatch, crew, air traffic control, and the general public., • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists., • Capable of interpreting a variety of multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form., • Makes decisions to support strategic direction., • Decisions tend to be medium range and of medium significance with moderate consequences, but may in unusual situations be significant and have safety-of-flight consequences., • Decisions could require additional expenditure of resources if not sound and may impact safety., • Able to process information quickly and react in a positive manner during unexpected and/or serious situations., • Pay based on experience, • Medical including Health, Dental and Vision, • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, • Paid Holidays, • Paid Vacation, • 401K – After 6 Months of Service, • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with a minimum of 2 years of experience., • Excellent computer skills., • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required, • Certification of air data systems on RSVM-certified aircraft, • Must be able to read and write English and have good communication, writing, and problem-solving skills, • FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment, • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, • Good vision and depth perception, • Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position, • A&P Certification preferred, • High School diploma or GED, • Has no certificate action since the date of the interview, • Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
