Job Description Duties: • Verify health insurance benefits via Epic, phone and insurance portals. Knowledge of deductibles, co-insurance and out of pocket expenses. Prepare patient estimates and contact patients to inform of balance due. • Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding insurance benefits, • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Experience: • Previous experience in medical insurance verification., • Proficient in using medical software and electronic health record systems. Epic experience is a plus but not required., • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and patients, • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines If you are a detail-oriented individual with experience in medical insurance verification, we invite you to join our team.
