This management position works with a team of four staff to keep the Astor House, the New York Junior League's landmarked headquarters on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, running smoothly. This includes managing all maintenance contracts and inspections, reviewing current contracts for value and overseeing internal and external events in the house. The position will work closely with the Events and Catering Manager to coordinate event setup, implementation, and breakdown in the building.

Well this Surgical Support Company is seeking an experienced and caring Onsite Caretaker to join our team: Responsibilities: - Provide attentive and empathetic care to patients at our surgical support facility during the night shift. - Perform wound care, dressing changes, and post-surgical wound assessments with meticulous attention to detail. - Monitor and record patients' vital signs, promptly reporting any significant changes to the medical team. - Administer pain management techniques and medications in accordance with physicians' instructions. - Assist with pre-operative and post-operative preparations and procedures under the guidance of medical professionals. - Collaborate effectively with the medical team to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care during nighttime hours. - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, catering to dietary requirements and post-surgical nutritional needs. - Maintain a clean and organized facility, ensuring adequate supplies of medical equipment and meal preparation essentials. - Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all care provided during the shift. - Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, fostering a positive and reassuring environment. - Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control measures, and company policies, especially during the night when support resources may be limited.

Requirements: - Proficiency in computers (PC and Mac) - Proficiency in Shipstation and Shopify preferred - Be able to problem solve and collaborate with team members in different departments - Be comfortable working in temperatures between 50 F and 90 F, depending on weather, as well in a noisy environment - Be available 5 or 6 days a week (Monday through Saturday) - Be able to carry at least 30 lb., stand/walk for up to 10 hours/day, and regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach below the waist/above the head - Speak English, Spanish, or both - Adhere to company policies regarding presentation, cleanliness, timeliness, and professionalism Job Description: - Oversee order fulfillment for eCommerce customer orders, ensure accuracy of everything leaving the facility - Supervise the packing team, delegate responsibilities between team members as necessary - Coordinate with other team leads to ensure that all customer and corporate orders are fulfilled and shipped - Train employees on company policies and product standards; set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with management - Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment for all team members - Oversee opening and closing of warehouse daily operations - Perform general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area Salary: $25/hour
