Were currently seeking a highly motivated Aviation Resident Project Representative located inWest Palm Beach, FL. Required Education: • Bachelors Degree Preferred Certifications: • PE, • FDOT CTQPs Asphalt, • MOT, • Earthwork, • Bridge Required Qualifications: In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection or similar active construction environments., • A valid drivers license and the ability to travel to and work on-site for the duration of the project., • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to manage interactions with contractors, airport authorities, and other project stakeholders., • Ability to lead construction meetings, draft minutes and construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, etc.) as required. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering., • PE License, • Roadway, Infrastructure, or aviation inspection experience., • Previous involvement in projects requiring close coordination with active airport operations and adherence to FAA safety requirements., • Familiarity with FAA and FDOT construction standards and regulatory compliance., • Experience in airfield and/or roadway construction (asphalt and concrete work, pavement markings, drainage, construction documentation, schedule and plan review, etc.)., • Previous involvement in projects requiring close coordination with active airport operations and adherence to FAA safety requirements. Responsibilities: • Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to manage field activities with minimal supervision., • Conduct day-to-day inspections activities in the field, coordinate work with Engineer of Record and client., • Be able to perform daily inspection reports, verify that materials are in compliance with plans and specs., • Review construction plans, FAA/FDOT specifications, and technical documents to anticipate and address potential issues, and be able to obtain security badges with the Airport Departments., • Process monthly certifications for the contractor and provide a letter of recommendation to the owner for payment., • Maintain a document control database, including daily reports, pictures, shop drawings, Request for Information (RFI) and other pertinent construction contract information., • Be able to track environmental and build permits as required by contract., • Ideally, demonstrate previous experience with managing aviation projects, in the airfield, landside and terminals., • Work hand-in-hand with the Aviation PM (client) to achieve the project completion within time / money goals., • Review construction baseline schedules, provide comments until the project schedule is accepted by the Client., • Review schedule monthly updates and monitor deviations. Evaluate recovery schedules when required., • Provide constructability comments on plans before they go to bid., • Monitor construction activities to minimize disruption to airport operations and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. Preferred Skills/Abilities: • Integrity and professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety., • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to document and report project progress accurately and timely., • Ability to work proactively in a high-pressure, regulated environment, ensuring construction activities do not interfere with ongoing operations. Salary: • $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually Bonus Pay: A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
