Job Description Job Summary: The Lead Server is responsible for overseeing the restaurant operations, ensuring a high standard of guest experience, and managing both front-of-house and basic kitchen operations. This role combines hands-on service, light food preparation, guest interaction, and supervisory duties. The position requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Duties/Responsibilities: • Set up, restock, and maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area., • Serve breakfast and beverages to guests, ensuring friendly and professional service., • Prepare simple food items and beverages., • Handle transactions using the POS system., • Supervise and support waitstaff and kitchen assistants during restaurant hours., • Manage guest reservations and oversee the flow of service., • Address guest requests and resolve complaints diplomatically., • Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards., • Follow all alcohol service procedures, • Assist with training and supervising front-of-house staff., • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)., • Coordinate with kitchen and event staff for special functions or banquets., • Perform inventory checks and ensure sufficient supplies for service., • Sanitize all cleaning tools and maintain equipment at the end of each shift., • Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimal guest service., • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Strong supervisory skills., • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities., • Good organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to follow recipes and culinary procedures., • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines., • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment., • Proficiency with POS and scheduling systems., • Good analytical and problem-solving skills., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Previous Food and Beverage service experience preferred, • Experience in guest-facing roles and basic food preparation.
