Job Description Job Title: Electrical Foreman Job Description The Electrical Foreman oversees day-to-day electrical installation activities on new construction school projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work. This role focuses on commercial electrical work, including bending and running conduit, pulling wire, installing fixtures, and reading blueprints to complete installations according to technical drawings and schematics. Responsibilities • Bend and install conduit, including consistently running approximately 200 feet of 3/4-inch conduit per day., • Pull wire and cable through conduit systems in a commercial construction environment., • Install lighting, electrical fixtures, and related components according to plans and specifications., • Perform terminations for electrical wiring and equipment in accordance with applicable standards., • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to plan and execute electrical installations., • Lay out, run, and secure conduit in new construction school facilities., • Use standard electrical hand tools and a cordless drill to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently., • Assist with troubleshooting and basic repair of electrical systems as needed., • Ensure all work follows site safety rules, including working only on de-energized systems (no live wires)., • Coordinate daily tasks to meet project schedules and production expectations., • Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment., • At least 4–5 years of electrical experience in a commercial construction setting., • Proficiency in bending and installing conduit, including rigid conduit., • Strong experience pulling wire and cable in commercial or industrial environments., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics., • Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, terminations, and fixture installation., • Knowledge of commercial electrical installation practices for lighting and power systems., • Competence using standard electrical hand tools and a cordless drill., • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30/4:00 p.m., with openness to overtime and weekend work as needed., • Experience on new construction projects, preferably in school or institutional environments., • Familiarity with reading and applying construction and electrical technical drawings on site., • Ability to work at different project sites in the greater Georgetown, Round Rock, Elgin, and Bastrop, TX areas., • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality while meeting production targets. You will join a team with a strong pipeline of ongoing projects, providing consistent work and opportunities to stay busy throughout the year. Work Environment This role is based on active new construction school sites in and around Georgetown and Round Rock, Texas, with additional work at sites in areas such as Elgin and Bastrop. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30/4:00 p.m., with overtime and Saturday work frequently available and sometimes required to meet project schedules. Work takes place on commercial construction sites, both indoors and outdoors, and involves standing, walking, climbing, and working in various weather conditions. You will use standard electrical hand tools and a cordless drill, and you will work only on de-energized systems with no live-wire work. The dress code requires steel-toe boots, a safety vest, hard hat, and safety glasses at all times on site, reflecting a strong emphasis on safety and compliance with construction site standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41.79 - $87.76/hr.
