HR Generalist Location: Denver, CO Department: HR & Payroll About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team in Denver. This role supports the HR, Payroll, and Operations team with all administrative processes related to our temporary workforce, ensuring compliance, organization, and efficiency across our growing business. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone looking to gain experience in HR operations, payroll administration, and employment compliance in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Support all HR administrative tasks related to temporary employees, including onboarding, terminations, and employee record maintenance., • Manage and organize employee documentation and folders (digital and physical), ensuring compliance with company and state regulations., • Process employment verifications, wage garnishments, and unemployment claims in coordination with the payroll team., • Assist with weekly payroll processing — reviewing hours, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy., • Coordinate with vendors and state agencies on workers’ compensation audits, claims, and renewals., • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including official correspondence and state registration filings., • Support HR and Operations with state business registrations and renewals across multiple jurisdictions., • Assist with compliance tracking, including I-9 documentation, certificates, and licensing requirements., • Provide general administrative support to HR and leadership teams. Qualifications • 2–5 years of experience in HR, payroll, or administrative support (staffing industry experience preferred)., • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities., • Experience with wage garnishments, employee terminations, and payroll support., • Strong familiarity with California labor laws (required or strong plus)., • Understanding of workers’ compensation and audit processes., • Excellent communication and organizational skills., • Proficient in Google Workspace and Excel (HRIS or payroll systems experience a plus).
