Job DescriptionJob Title: PipefitterJob Description We are seeking a skilled pipefitter to install, assemble, and maintain commercial and industrial piping systems, including high-pressure and low-pressure lines. The role involves maintaining and repairing piping systems that transport chemicals, steam, oil, and gases. You will read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs to determine pipe layout and project specifications. You will also cut, weld, thread, bend, and fabricate pipe using materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair high-pressure industrial piping systems., • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs for pipe layout and specifications., • Cut, weld, thread, bend, and fabricate pipes using various materials., • Test systems for leaks and integrity using pressure gauges and diagnostic equipment., • Install valves, supports, hangers, and related components., • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure performance and safety., • Collaborate with other trades on construction and renovation projects., • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards., • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and system specifications.Essential Skills, • Pipe fitting, • Blueprint reading, • Construction and industrial piping experience, • Threading and installation skills, • Pipe welding and cutting metal, • Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, brazing, and PVC materials Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
