American Traveler is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 10/20/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Work in a nuclear medicine department within a hospital setting, • Perform imaging procedures using specialized equipment and radiopharmaceuticals, • Day shift schedule; 3x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday, • No floating, on-call, or weekend requirements, though may float to affiliated sites if census is low, • Patient population includes individuals scheduled for nuclear imaging procedures, • Epic EMR experience is preferred, • Responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing scans, and maintaining imaging equipment, • Requires providing clear explanations of procedures and reassurance to patients, • Responsibilities also include ensuring safe operation and proper maintenance of imaging equipment, • Orientation includes completion of 1-5 hours of online modules, • Only one holiday time off will be approved during contract, • Return staff must have been gone for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler, • Locals are accepted at the local rate, • Must provide copies of all certifications prior to consideration\n \n Requirements\n, • Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMT cert), • Current CA state license required if applicable, • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in nuclear medicine, • AHA certifications must be current and in hand, • Experience with Epic EMR preferred, • Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing, • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
