Seeking Full Time Nanny for a Vibrant, Loving Family! About the Role A warm, mindful, and active family is in search of a wonderful Nanny to add to their small but mighty team. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, discreet, and experienced while also young at heart and able to foster creativity. This role requires a proactive, flexible individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Candidates who require relocation are welcome to apply. Role Type: Full Time, Onsite Schedule: Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 7pm. 11am - 3pm, focused on infant care. 3 - 7pm, focused on the other two school-aged children, primarily the 8-year-old daughter. Shifts will be flexible to accommodate changes in the Family’s schedule. Compensation: $40-45 hourly rate, commensurate with experience Benefits: • Health Stipend, • 2 Weeks Accrued Paid Vacation, • 5 Sick Days, • 5 Holidays (NYD, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) Responsibilities: Active Childcare • Care for three children (ages 4.5 months, 8 years, and 13 years)., • Care will often be focused on one child at a time. Oldest daughter will only need pick up and drop off. Middle daughter will need homework help. Nanny will generally only care for newborn daughter until 3pm., • Light meal prep for the older kids., • Transport children to/from school and activities., • Assist with homework., • Help watch when sick or on weekends (flexibility is key)., • Occasionally travel with the family., • Swim with children or watch children in the pool as needed., • Curate and share art and education with the infant to promote development. Cooking and Light Housekeeping • Though there is a full-time housekeeper, the nanny will be expected to help keep the home tidy so the environment is not chaotic. This should also be taught to the children so they learn to clean up after themselves., • Manage children’s inventory. Shop and place orders to keep all food and items stocked., • Food prep for the Family., • Maintain children’s laundry, including handwashing delicates and ironing (for baby and Helena)., • Take out the trash., • Address ad hoc needs as requested. Family Assistance • Keep schedules and documentation pertaining to the children up-to-date., • Engage in weekly check-ins with the parents., • Handle personal errands and tasks, such as shopping, gift procurement, dry cleaning., • Make and manage reservations for kids camps and lessons., • Source tutors, sports coaches, etc., • Coordinate appointments and act as a liaison to doctors, schools, and extracurriculars as needed. Confidential Matters • Handle sensitive and confidential matters with the utmost discretion., • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times., • Remain mindful of the household dynamic and privacy., • No social media posts of the children or home., • No technology around the children, unless being used for homework. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a high-level Nanny, preferably with UHNW families., • Infant care experience, as well as experience with the 7 - 13 years range., • Experience introducing foods to infants. Experience with sleep training techniques and potty training., • Must be fluent in English and Spanish and comfortable teaching Spanish to the children. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Certification(s) for continued education or a degree in early childhood education, including teaching experience., • Authorized to work in the US for any employer., • A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Candidates should own their own vehicle and feel comfortable driving Principals’ vehicles., • CPR certified. (Will pay to have this certification.), • Trustline certified. (Will pay to have this certification.), • Ability to play a musical instrument. Piano is preferred., • Ability to swim., • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Up to date passport., • Must have a flexible schedule, including weekend and nighttime availability., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Fully vaccinated.
