Ross Heart Hospital, 452 W 10th Ave, Columbus, OH 43210, • Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics, • Experience:, • Minimum 5 years OR experience, • Must have at least 2 years dedicated cardiac & vascular scrub experience (hard stop), • Minimum 1 year CVOR experience in a Level I Trauma Center, • Certifications:, • Required: BLS, • Preferred: ACLS, • Licensure: Active OH or Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission), • Charting: Epic, • Travel Experience: Not required, • Scrub Experience: Required, • References: 2 professional required (1 manager/director/leadership, 1 charge RN acceptable), • Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, • Local Rule: Locals accepted at same rate Cardiovascular / Cardiac Surgery • CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft), • Mitral valve replacement, • MAZE procedure, • TAVR (Transaortic Valve Replacement), • LVAD/RVAD (Ventricular Assist Device), • Aortic aneurysm repair, atrial septal defect repair, pericardial window, • Femoral cannulation, intra-aortic balloon pump, • Carotid endarterectomy, carotid stenting, carotid angioplasty, • Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), TEVAR, • Arteriovenous fistula repair, fem-pop bypass, renal artery bypass, • Thoracotomy, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), mediastinoscopy, • Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair (as needed for CVOR crossover), • Trauma Level I response, emergency code response, • Specimen handling/labeling, aseptic technique, • Blood/blood product administration, wound management, • Ratios: 1:1 for all shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends), • Float: Not required outside CVOR, • Call: Yes, required | $9/hr + 1.3x callback pay, • Weekend Coverage: Per unit needs, • Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 request allowed, • Setting: Academic Medical Center, Level I Trauma, • Interdisciplinary Support: Cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery teams Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
