Job Description Job Title: Financial Aid Coordinator – Atlanta (In‑Market Required) Department: Financial Planning Employment Type: Full-Time Nonexempt Experience: Associates Degree or Equivalent Work Experience (2+ years) Shift: Rotating Hours: Monday – Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (with late nights included), and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Please note that occasional weekend availability may be required. Compensation Type: Starting at approximately $44,000, with final compensation based on qualifications and experience. Location: Candidates must reside in or near the Atlanta, GA market. Remote but must be able to support on‑campus responsibilities as needed Job Summary: The Financial Aid Coordinator plays a crucial role within the Financial Aid Department and serves as the initial point of contact for students beginning their Financial Aid journey. This position supports the Financial Aid Planning team by preparing students for Financial Aid readiness while delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Ogle School’s core values of teamwork, integrity, respect, excellence, and customer service. This role requires the individual to be based in the Atlanta, GA market. While some responsibilities may be performed remotely, the Financial Aid Coordinator must be available to support on‑site campus needs in Atlanta as required, including in‑person student assistance, training, and departmental support. A Day in the Life: • Deliver exceptional customer service to students throughout their Financial Aid journey., • Create a positive, supportive student experience aligned with Ogle School’s core values., • Collect, review, and organize student documentation for Financial Aid processing., • Assist students with completing the FAFSA, Master Promissory Note, and other required Financial Aid forms prior to scheduled appointments., • Utilize NSLDS to verify students’ Financial Aid status and history., • Conduct follow up calls to address prospective and current students’ Financial Aid questions., • Provide accurate Financial Aid estimates and preparation guidance., • Support students during their initial interactions with the Financial Aid Department., • Manage daily operational tasks that support Financial Aid readiness and compliance., • Maintain telephone coverage during assigned hours, including:, • Answering inbound calls, • Making outbound calls to collect documentation, • Coordinating Financial Aid appointments, • Support in person campus needs in the Atlanta market as required by the Financial Aid Department., • Adhere strictly to Ogle School SOPs, internal Financial Aid policies, and all applicable Federal Guidelines., • Attend required training sessions (virtual and/or in person) to maintain compliance., • Perform additional Financial Aid related duties as assigned. Additional Skills or Experience: • Candidates must reside in or near the Atlanta, GA market, • Must be able to support on‑campus responsibilities as needed, • High School Diploma or GED required., • Minimum 2 year of customer service experience., • Must not be currently in default on any Federal Student Loans., • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail., • Reliable internet connection for remote work components., • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as necessary., • Ability to perform sedentary work with occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs)., • Previous Financial Aid experience (preferred, not required)., • Strong customer service skills across phone, email, and digital platforms., • Ability to follow structured processes while working collaboratively in a team environment., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Starting at approximately $44,000, with final compensation based on qualifications and experience., • Healthcare - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage are available for employees who opt-in., • 401k/Retirement Plan, • Personal Development - We support our employees through mentoring, internal & external educational programs, networking, skills enhancement, and career-building programs. Ability to Work Remotely: Remote employees must work from their designated home office and ensure secure access to company systems using a company-approved VPN and multi-factor authentication (MFA). A stable, high-speed Wi-Fi connection is required; mobile hotspots or other unreliable internet sources are not permitted due to security and connectivity concerns. Company-issued devices must be locked when not in use, and any personal devices used for work must comply with company security protocols. Work Schedules: Ogle School supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. For this role, there is a minimum 40-work week schedule, 5 days a week.
