What This Role Is… As a Mechanic I, the primary function of this position is to pair, inspect, and maintain services for trucks, tractors and service vehicles in a company fleet. Position Title: Location:Mechanic I Tamarac, FLReports To: Department:Operations Manager Operations Pay Rate: $26.00-$31.00/hr Depending On Experience What You’ll Do… As a Mechanic 1 Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to: Vehicle Maintenance: • Conducts DOT Inspections, • Performs Preventative Maintenance., • Performs repairs on Engine, Transmissions, Chassis, Brakes, Electrical systems, and fuel systems, • Initiates/populates/closes out repair orders, • Performs daily vehicle inspections., • Inspects Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fuel systems. This includes, hoses, connectors, odor, hissing, etc., • Inspects gasoline fueling station for safe working condition or defects. Job Description NOVA Engineering is currently seeking a multi-licensed Building Code Inspector (MEP) in the Fort Lauderdale, FL metropolitan statistical area (MSA). Primary duties will include performing building code inspections and/or plans review on residential and commercial buildings, as well as managing specific projects related to these types of code inspections.
