Job Description The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for supporting and administering all core HR functions for the Mactac Minneapolis Plant, including implementing HR policies and programs, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and providing employees with timely information and guidance on HR‑related matters. The HRBP conducts research and analysis to support statistics, projects, and strategic initiatives, and serves as a key resource for employee questions and HR support. Additionally, this role administers and maintains all payroll functions to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, the HRBP is responsible for supporting additional HR duties and initiatives as needed. Responsibilities include: • Leading all HR functions and processes for the Mactac Minneapolis Plant., • Completing plant payroll by reviewing UKG timecard information and reconciling discrepancies with accuracy and confidentiality., • Providing guidance to employees and stakeholders on all major benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, LTD, 401(k), workers' compensation, unemployment claims, HSAs, wellness programs, and employee activities., • Managing employee changes-transfers, job changes, promotions, demotions, terminations, pay increases-and ensuring proper approvals are obtained., • Coordinating the open enrollment process and related communications or meetings., • Serving as a resource for employees and leaders, offering timely support on policies, procedures, employee relations concerns, and benefit clarification., • Partnering with managers and supervisors on performance‑related matters, including coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, Individual Development Plans, investigations, discipline, and terminations., • Supporting organizational and compensation changes, including job description reviews, job evaluations, and promotions., • Leading onboarding for all hourly positions, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and new‑hire orientation., • Championing wellness initiatives and serving as the primary wellness lead for the Minneapolis Plant., • Assisting in identifying training and performance needs across departments., • Developing or supporting the development of training materials, tools, and activities using various media., • Delivering training to individuals or departments as needed., • Supporting peer HRBPs and cross‑functional teams in implementing training or performance improvement initiatives., • Maintaining training records, evaluations, project plans, and related documentation., • Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding HR, talent, recruitment, and employee information., • Conducting research and analysis for strategic HR initiatives., • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is required., • Minimum of 5 years prior HR experience is required., • Prior HR experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is required., • Experience resolving complex employee relations issues is required., • Prior Payroll and Talent Acquisition experience preferred., • Prior experience utilizing HRIS/HCM systems is required. Experience utilizing UKG preferred., • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities., • Excellent time management and organizational skills., • Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines, • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills., • Demonstrated critical thinking, sound judgment, and problem‑solving ability., • Ability to build relationships across functions and levels., • Resilient, self‑motivated, and able to maintain a positive, can‑do attitude., • Responsibility & Impact: This role is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of HR and payroll functions.
