Job Overview: Our client is seeking to hire a board-certified MD or DO who has completed an Neurology, Psychiatry, or Geriatric Medicine residency in the United States to join their team as principal investigator (“PI”) in clinical research at an independent research location in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The research site plans to administer a wide variety of Phase 2/3/4 drug research trials with a primary focus in Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia. Prior research experience as a PI, Sub-I, or Co-Investigator is preferred for this role. This is a full-time, in-person role. There are no planned overnight or weekend hours. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Provide leadership and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with study protocols, FDA, IRB, and Sponsor requirements, • Screen and evaluate study participants, reviewing eligibility and ratings to ensure data integrity, • Maintain required licensure, credentials, and study documentation throughout each trial, • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of safety events, noncompliance, and trial-specific updates, • Collaborate with research and operations teams to meet site performance goals, • Represent the site at Investigator Meetings, trainings, and educational seminars, • Travel to Investigator Meetings as needed Requirements: • Prior clinical research experience is preferred for this role, • Board-certified in Neurology, Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine with Alzheimer’s or geriatric experience, • Valid license to practice medicine in Minnesota (or license-eligible), • A command of professional spoken and written English Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance; paid time off, sick days, paternity/maternity leave, and paid holidays. 401(k) with employer contributions. The salary range for this position is $275,000 to $300,000 per year.
