Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate ensures accurate and timely delivery of customer orders by managing key warehouse operations. This includes receiving and processing incoming inventory and materials, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, as well as supporting inventory control and cycle counting. Competencies: Nimble Learning, Collaborates, Customer Focus, Instills Trust, Action Oriented, Courage, Persuade, Decision Quality, Manages Conflict, Optimizes Work Processes Essential Responsibilities: The following essential functions represent the primary work performed; however, other responsibilities could be expected that are not detailed here but fall within the scope of this role. • Inventory & Warehouse Operations, • Receive and process Purchase Orders (POs), Service Request Orders (SROs), OEM items (including pairing), repaired devices, and transfers., • Perform picking, replenishment, inventory management, and shipping tasks to maintain smooth operations., • Order Fulfillment, • Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders while ensuring timely and correct delivery., • Prepare and assemble shipping materials for customer returns, including building boxes using staple guns, liquid tape, and other assembly tools., • Repair Processing, • Handle incoming parts and devices, perform sorting, device audits, OEM parts pairing, and parts picking for repair workflows., • Inventory Control, • Maintain organized inventory and participate in cycle counts, stocking, and replenishment to ensure adequate materials and parts availability., • Safety & Quality Compliance, • Adhere to safety and quality standards, including HAZMAT handling, quality checks, and process improvement initiatives., • Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement, • Work effectively within a team to achieve KPIs related to dependability, quality, cleanliness, and safety., • Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent, • Experience: Previous exposure to warehouse operations, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping preferred., • Equipment and Technical Skills: Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand-held scanners. Exposure to ERP systems (such as Infor CSI) and inventory management platforms (like Pacejet) is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Outlook, Teams, and Excel., • Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in reviewing orders, scanning/picking, data entry and inventory tracking to ensure precise records and efficient workflows., • Communication: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams in writing and verbally., • Problem-Solving: Curious and proactive in identifying issues and contributing to process improvements. The production warehouse will work with and around a variety of industrial warehouse tools, equipment and vehicles, such as forklifts, hand trucks and packaging machines, in an environment that includes exposure to loud noise levels, vibration, dust, fumes, mechanical hazards, bright lights and hot or cold temperatures. While performing the duties of this position, incumbents may be expected to do any of the following, with or without accommodation: • Use tools, machinery, or equipment at their workstation for long periods, up to an entire shift, managing the controls of the tools, machinery or equipment in a safe and effective manner, • Use computer keyboard, mobile device, desktop computer, laptop, calculator, telephone, walkie talkie, copy machine and other production warehouse tools or controls, • Mentally focus on tasks and apply sound reasoning and judgement, • Review documents, monitors or displays with potentially small print, • Follow all safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, face shields, hard hats, masks, gloves or other PPE if required safety and effectively, • Move through the production warehouse facility on potentially uneven or slippery surface, • Respond to safety control noises or alarms such as fire alarm, forklifts horns, and machinery alerts, • Reach under, over, above or around workstation, equipment, machinery or other objects such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing to perform work The typical workdays and hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. This role is classified as full-time nonexempt (hourly) and incumbents will work a minimum of 40 hours in a work week. Work is expected to be delivered within established deadlines and quality standards within specific time periods. This is typically within a 40-hour work week. Overtime (working more than 40 hours in a work week) may be worked when approved or could be required if requested by a manager.
