This is a full-time hybrid role and our selected candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Brooklyn Park, MN headquarters. A day in the life: The Senior Director of Marketing leads the development, strategy, and execution of marketing initiatives for CVRx products in markets defined by senior leadership. This role is responsible for building awareness and driving adoption of our therapy among physicians, hospitals, and consumers, while also spearheading direct-to-consumer marketing efforts. The Senior Director of Marketing will collaborate closely with Sales, Sales leadership and Marketing colleagues, among others, to develop and execute effective commercialization strategies, while fostering strong and productive relationships across teams Key Duties and Responsibilities: Messaging and positioning • Become proficient with Barostim Therapy for the treatment of heart failure and hypertension, commercial and clinical., • Develop educational and communication programs and materials, to facilitate physicians in patient identification, selection and enrollment, and therapy acceptance by physicians and consumers., • Develop and manage the collaborative production of marketing material and sales collateral., • Aid in development of corporate messaging (e.g. branding, press releases, webinars, and corporate presentations)., • Develop and execute an awareness program to educate potential patients, clinicians, payers and strategic partners., • Work closely with local CVRx sales teams, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), patient associations, and local health authorities to expand the knowledge of and access to CVRx’s therapy solutions., • Expand online presence via websites, social networks, and search engines., • Develop plans for obtaining ongoing market intelligence., • Coordinate with Sales Operations leadership to further develop and optimize Salesforce.com as a revenue reporting, customer relations, and forecasting management tool., • Identify and track metrics needed to determine effectiveness and ROI for sales and marketing activities. What we expect from you: • Bachelor’s degree required, • 5+ years of medical device (or MedTech) marketing experience, • Outstanding communication skills including verbal and written, • Expert level skills using Office 365 tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, • Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial, informal development environment while creating standards of excellence for future team members, • Demonstrable experience in both learning of and creating a deep understanding of a relatable medical device while promoting therapy awareness to various HCPs, centers and consumers, • Hands-on methods: not afraid to get “in the weeds” and perform alongside team members as well as lead them, • Able to function as a hands-on member internally and represent the company well while interacting externally with medical professionals and customers alike, • Career aspirations in leadership, • A valid form of approved dentification for Air Travel is required (domestically and abroad) What we would like to see: • MBA degree from a top tier business school preferred, • Prior experience with active implantable devices, including cardiovascular/cardiology and/or heart failure therapies, • Involvement with commercial launches and clinical research of an implantable medical device and/or therapy, • Conveying a professional executive presence and a keen ability to appeal to audiences of all types, • Experience with Direct-to-Consumer marketing of a medical device or therapy Working Conditions: • Normal hybrid office working conditions with professional home office set-up, • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% and work in a team of professionals What we offer: CVRx is proud to offer competitive salaries and benefits plans. Salary (or Hourly) range for U.S locations (USD): 179,000 -245,000 In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for our Corporate Bonus Plan (CBP) which provides the opportunity to earn additional compensation for the company’s meeting established annual objectives and prorated based on earned annual base salary. The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location.
