Job Description Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, with experience in various caregiving settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care. This role involves working closely with clients to enhance their quality of life through personalized care and support. Duties • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting., • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients., • Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status., • Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions., • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties., • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans., • Assist clients with mobility, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary., • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction., • Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities., • First aid and CPR certification preferred., • Experience in group homes or assisted living facilities is a plus., • Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in client conditions., • Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility., • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality., • Experience in home & community care, hospice care, or long-term care settings., • Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment., • Proficient in meal preparation and cooking for diverse dietary needs., • Compassionate approach towards working with individuals with disabilities or autism.
