Job Description Job Title: Payroll Specialist Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking to build a career in payroll? Our client is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their collaborative team supporting payroll operations for union and prevailing wage construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative, accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll experience who wants hands-on exposure to a specialized and in-demand area of payroll. You'll work closely with an experienced payroll team, gain valuable knowledge of union and certified payroll processes, and have the opportunity to grow your career within a stable and supportive organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.80/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
