Job Description DETAIL TECHNICIAN (SELECTIVE HIRE) | ELI’S ELITE MOBILE DETAILING Read this before applying. We are building a luxury mobile detailing company for busy professionals and business owners who want their vehicles cared for properly, every time. Our standard is meticulous work, clean process, and owning every outcome. We hire selectively. We typically hire about 5% of applicants because we protect the standard and the team environment. If you want an easy job, skip this. If you want to learn high-level detailing, work with high standards, and be proud of your work, keep reading. The job You will: * Perform interior and exterior detailing to a defined standard * Follow our process exactly. No shortcuts * Work as a team and help your partner succeed * Communicate professionally with clients on site * Stay organized, keep the setup clean, and finish jobs strong * Stay focused and keep progress moving. No drifting, no phone time The reality * Outdoor work in heat and cold * You may move equipment up to about 60 lbs * The schedule is weather-driven. Busy on clear weeks, slower on rain and cold, then it stacks * Typical detail time is 3 to 4 hours. Quality comes first Non-negotiables You will not last here if you: * Show up late * Cut corners or ignore the process * Get defensive when coached * Are rude or careless with clients * Lie, hide mistakes, or avoid accountability * Bring a lazy attitude that drags the team down What great looks like * You show up 15 minutes early * You are friendly, clean, and professional * You care about the small details * You finish your task, then immediately find what is limiting the job and fix it * You take coaching seriously and improve fast Growth path We train and promote based on performance. * 30 days: competent with the core process, professional with clients, passing a skills test * 90 days: can perform a standard detail solo if needed, learning advanced skills like extraction, steam, polishing * 6 months: mastered the process, consistently above standard, beginning ceramic coating Pay and incentives * Starting pay: $22.50 per hour * Review after 6 months based on performance * Bonus: 5-star review bonus (1 hour bonus per team member) * Monthly bonus for hitting 5-star review goals * Perk: detail your own vehicle monthly when in good standing Schedule * Part-time: 25 to 30 hours per week * Full-time: 40+ hours per week Schedule depends on weather. Requirements * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Preferably you genuinely like cars * No drug issues * Non-smoker preferred * Coachable, accountable, and professional Trial period Short working trial: 3 details or 2 days equivalent.
