Job DescriptionAssembly Mechanic Pay: $19–$23/hr (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and skilled Assembly Mechanic to perform high‑quality installations of air conditioning units and related mechanical systems. This role is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and essential to delivering reliable, well‑built equipment that meets customer expectations and company standards. Key Responsibilities • Complete installation orders based on customer specifications, including evaporators, condensers, compressors, mount kits, ducting, and connecting systems, • Gather all required parts, tools, and materials before beginning each job, • Ensure all installations meet quality, performance, and cost standards, • Inspect completed work and resolve issues to ensure proper functionality, • Charge air conditioning systems as needed, • Support special projects such as replacements, retrofits, remodels, and after‑sales service, • Perform preventive maintenance and follow manufacturer guidelines, • Maintain a safe work environment, use required PPE, and follow all safety procedures, • Escalate issues that may impact schedule, quality, or customer satisfaction, • Assist in training team members when needed, • Complete required documentation and reports, • Maintain professional communication with customers and coworkers, • Support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives, • Perform other duties as assignedEssential Skills & Experience, • Experience with installation, assembly line work, or mechanical assembly, • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools, • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, • Experience in automotive repair or parts assembly, • Minimum 2+ years of assembly or installation experienceAdditional Qualifications, • Preferred: automotive experience, • Ability to follow a systematic, organized approach to tasks, • At least 1 year of light automotive repair experience, • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods (10+ hours), • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Basic computer skills (Microsoft and Google applications), • Strong problem‑solving abilities, • Willingness to travel, work overtime, and work occasional weekends, • Preferred: air conditioning installation experienceWhy Work Here, • Full benefits at a very low cost, • Annual merit‑based raises (typically in January), • 10 vacation days in the first year, • Holiday pay Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional Fridays. Includes a 30‑minute lunch break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
