We service and repair a wide range of vehicles, with a large portion of our workload consisting of light-duty trucks and diesel pickups. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a strong B-level technician or A-level technician who is confident performing diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and inspections on a variety of vehicles. Diesel pickup experience is a plus, but it is not required for this position. We are primarily looking for a technician with strong general automotive repair skills, good diagnostic ability, and a professional attitude. This is not an entry-level position. The right candidate should be able to work independently, perform quality repairs, document findings clearly, and communicate effectively with the service advisor and other technicians. Key Responsibilities As an Experienced Automotive Technician, you will: • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, and maintenance-related vehicle concerns., • Perform brake, steering, suspension, cooling system, charging system, starting system, and general engine repairs., • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, fluid services, filters, tires, batteries, and inspections., • Use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, service information, and proper testing procedures., • Perform accurate and complete digital vehicle inspections., • Identify needed repairs and maintenance items., • Document inspection findings, diagnostic results, repairs performed, and parts used., • Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle concerns, recommendations, and repair progress., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area., • Follow shop procedures, safety standards, and quality control processes., • Stay current with industry training, repair procedures, and new vehicle technology., • Work as part of a team and help support a positive shop environment. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who has: • Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic., • Strong general automotive repair knowledge., • Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills., • Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment., • Ability to perform quality work efficiently and accurately., • Strong attention to detail., • Good communication skills., • A dependable, team-oriented attitude., • Ability to follow procedures and document work clearly., • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record., • High school diploma or equivalent. ASE certifications are a plus, but not required. Automotive school, dealer training, independent shop experience, diesel pickup experience, electrical diagnostic experience, or advanced drivability training are also a plus.
