What are the primary responsibilities in the Advanced Database/Web Engineer position? Core responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of data systems with both web and database components, analyzing and maintaining existing databases and web interfaces, and adding new features to operational systems. This will include implementing signal processing and other algorithms with efficient software, testing with real data, providing applications to front-line customer facilities, and creating effective user interfaces and data visualization tools. A key responsibility is staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies and experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects. What required background will make you successful? • Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, • Minimum 8 years' experience in software engineering-related discipline, • Proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability, • Proficient in C++ and Python in LINUX environments, • Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, • Demonstrated ability to design software systems to ensure they achieve functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements, • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance, • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Preferred background: • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks including Vue, React, Angular, • DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP), • Agile development processes, • Ability to mentor other engineers and provide technical advice to project leaders, • Current TS/SCI clearance Where is the position located? IT Service Management (ITSM) Analyst JOB SUMMARY Position acts as system administrator, configuration analyst and SME for the ITSM Management Tool. This position supports the development, maintenance and improvement of core ITSM processes, as well as in the development, analysis and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and metrics. This role will interact closely with the ITSM Product Owner to understand customer and stakeholder requirements for key activities, to ensure alignment with ITSM initiatives, and drive continuous process improvement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Assists in the review, design, and improvement of ITSM processes and procedures for the effective management and adherence of ITSM process areas.
