They will manage Capex Projects related to equipment and the facility.she ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Review job orders to determine work priorities., • Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations., • Coordinate activities of workers related to fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products., • Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations., • Oversees wastewater plant operations and compliance., • Develop a preventive maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff., • Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities., • Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards., • Plan, develop, and implement new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials., • Review new product plans and discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers., • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations., • Direct training and skill development of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures., • Confer with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment., • Drives continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve maintenance cost., • Foster cross-functional collaboration with other functions., • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies., • Provides technical expertise for the Americas Zone projects., • Prepare a function budget and monitor the expenditure of funds in the budget, • Manage spare parts, the company's fixed assets, and used machines., • Responsible for activities that ensure food safety, authenticity, integrity, and quality. S.) or above from four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or other technical field, • 5+ years of supervisory or project management experience (in food industry is a plus), • 3+ years of preventive maintenance program experience., • 8+ years of experience in food manufacturing, beverages, fermentation or other regulated process industries., • Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge., • Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies., • Field trouble shooting experience. Hands on PLC (500) trouble shoot experience or program writing., • Able to use Auto CAD, spreadsheet and presentation programs., • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Safety programs, and WC management., • Knowledge and experience with GMP, SSOP, ISO and ERP system is a plus., • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions., • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables., • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents., • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community., • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors., • Ability to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and capabilities.
