Jordan Health is now seeking a Psychiatric NP/PA who, under the guidance of the Director of Social Emotional and Mental Health/Practice Chief, is primarily responsible for providing behavioral health care to patients and family in collaboration with primary care physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioner colleagues throughout the Jordan Health Care setting. Provides comprehensive behavioral health evaluations, consultations with providers, assists with coordination of care either within the Jordan Health Care setting or referrals to community mental health centers. Performs in short term, episodic model, under the regulations of the Department of Health. Education and Experience Required: · Masters Degree in Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant in Psychiatric Mental Health. · One year of clinical experience working within the field of substance abuse and/or behavioral health. · Preferred candidates will have experience working with chronic mental illness. · Experience working with multicultural backgrounds.
